Role SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Solar Project Engineer to support the execution of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar EPC projects. The role involves overseeing the project—from feasibility and design to installation and commissioning—while ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, safety, and quality compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in rooftop solar projects, along with strong technical and coordination skills. Key Responsibilities • Perform feasibility studies, assess project sites, and develop system designs for solar PV installations.• Design rooftop systems, prepare layouts, SLDs, and configurations using AutoCAD, SketchUp• Run simulations, energy yield assessments, and shading analysis using PVsyst.• Prepare BOM, technical specifications, and other engineering documentation.• Coordinate procurement and vendor management for timely delivery of components.• Oversee on-site installation activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols.• Collaborate with electricians, contractors, and key stakeholders to facilitate smooth project implementation.• Handle preparation and submission of documentation, securing permits and DISCOM/regulatory clearances as required. Requirements• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering• 2–5 years of experience in solar PV design (C&I projects).• Proven track record of successfully delivering rooftop projects.• Strong command of AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVsyst and MS Excel.• Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools ,contracts, and BOQ management.• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, grid connectivity, and safety standards.• Ability to travel frequently for site supervision and client coordination.
