Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production issues when needed.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continually evolve the platform.

8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on platform engineering and microservice architectures.
Expertise in Golang and JavaScript (React.js) for developing full-stack solutions.
Extensive experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other container orchestration platforms.
Deep understanding of multi-tenant system design and architecture.
Strong background in cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
Expertise in designing and implementing APIs and microservices.
Solid understanding of security best practices for platform development and management.
Deep understanding of at least one public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Proven experience leading or mentoring engineering teams, with a strong focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and distributed tracing.
Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally with teams like Infrastructure, SRE, security, and application owners.

Experience with extending Kubernetes/OpenShift, including developing custom Operators or other Kubernetes-native solutions.
Experience working in an enterprise environment with multiple development teams.
Understanding of IBM cloud infrastructure.
