Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Robotics STEM Trainer based in Gurugram. The Senior Robotics STEM Trainer will be responsible for training students in robotics and STEM subjects, conducting workshops, and guiding students in projects. Additional tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and supporting students in competitions and championships. Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate engaging, hands-on sessions on Robotics, AI, Coding, IoT, and STEM for students in government and low-income schools.Lead curriculum implementation, integrating NEP 2020 principles and experiential learning across Grades 6–10.Mentor and guide students for participation in the Robotex India National Championship, state-level hackathons, and Robotex International in Estonia.Deliver teacher capacity-building workshops, helping embed robotics and AI into regular school pedagogy.Coordinate with school heads, CSR partners, and government stakeholders for smooth project execution.Maintain data-driven records on student learning outcomes, participation, and kit/infrastructure usage.Troubleshoot robotics kits, laptops, and IoT hardware during field delivery.Train, manage, and support junior trainers or volunteers where required. Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (CSE, ECE, Mechatronics), STEM Education, or Applied Sciences.4 years of relevant experience in STEM or robotics education, preferably in low-resource settings.Proficiency in:Robotics kits (Arduino, LEGO EV3, Raspberry Pi, DIY kits)Programming languages (Scratch, Blockly, Python, C++)AI and IoT concepts at foundational levelsStrong classroom facilitation, student engagement, and communication skills.Fluency in English and Hindi; additional regional language proficiency is a plus.Empathy, patience, and passion for education and social change. Preferred AttributesExperience working with government schools, KVs, Zilla Parishad schools, or Atal Tinkering Labs.Exposure to CSR-funded education programs and community-based training.Prior involvement in hackathons, robotics competitions, or international education platforms.Familiarity with NEP 2020, NCF 2023, and activity-based learning models.
