The role involves developing and maintaining sustainability-focused applications such as CBAM compliance tools, ESG reporting systems, and carbon accounting platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong .NET development skills, a good understanding of frontend technologies, and the willingness to work on data intensive and compliance-driven applications. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain sustainability-focused web applications using .NET Framework, .NET Core, and MVC. * Build and optimize APIs and backend logic for data management, reporting, and compliance workflows. * Work on frontend development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap (exposure to React/Angular is a plus). * Work with SQL Server for queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. * Collaborate with domain experts (LCA, ESG, CBAM) to translate sustainability requirements into software features. * Ensure applications follow best practices for scalability, security, and performance. * Integrate with third-party data sources, regulatory APIs, and emission factor databases where required. * Participate in Agile teams, code reviews, and continuous improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications * 2–3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer. * Strong hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, Entity Framework. * Good knowledge of SQL Server and relational database design. * Frontend development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap. * Exposure to REST APIs, JSON, Web Services. * Familiarity with Git / TFS for version control. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. Good to Have * Exposure to sustainability or compliance software (CBAM, ESG, LCA, EPD, carbon footprinting). * Basic knowledge of sustainability standards (ISO 14040/44, ISO 14064, GHG Protocol, EU CBAM). * Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and CI/CD practices. * Knowledge of modern JS frameworks (React/Angular). * Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
